I grade on a total points system.  Each assignment is worth a different amount of points based on the complexity.  Students have been given a grade sheet so that they can record each returned assignment and know what their grade is at all times.  I will send home a progress report to be signed every four weeks.  Their updated grade can always be checked on PowerSchool as well.  There is a link to PowerSchool on my website.

Make-up Policy:  If a student is absent, they are responsible for going to my make-up assignment notebook and file cabinet to retrieve their missed work.  They have one day for every day they were absent to return the assignment to me for full credit.
